Instructions for plenary and parallel session speakers
Plenary and parallel speakers, you will be responsible for uploading your talk. There will be no published proceedings, but all talks will be available/archived on this website.
Presentation/Contributions
- The Indico tool will be used by this conference to upload/archive the presentations and post them to the Timetable webpage. Authors are therefore requested to submit their presentations BEFORE the workshop, preferably by Oct 28th.
- Submission of presentations: step by step:
- login to Indico (same as for submission of your abstract)
- select "my contributions" (appears only after login)
- select id# and title
- select "manage material"
- Go to "add new material"
- select a type
- select "browse" to locate your material on your computer
- Click "open"
- Click on "submit"

Use of personal laptops for presentations will not be allowed .
Equipment that will be provided by the conference and setup in all meeting rooms :
- video projector
- PC laptop (installed with MS PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader and Ghostview
- a wired / wireless microphone
- laser pointer
Transparency presentations

If a transparency presentation will be used, you are still responsible for uploading a digitized file (ppt,
pdf or ps).

Only a limited amount of overhead projectors are available. Please notify us as soon as possible if you
need one so we can reserve and set it up prior to your presentation .
A few presentation guidelines:

try not to use yellow or green as these vanish on computer projectors.

for powerpoint talks, save your fonts in the file (tool/options/save/)

do not use fancy or ethnic fonts.
