Experiment 5 Proposal

Objectives:
  1. Commission MCP-PMT-based x-ray monitoring with PSEC-4 readout
  2. Study yie
Beam request:  all background monitoring can be done parasitic with other machine operations.  2x dedicated 5 minute bremsstrahlung target in runs

Experiment 5 Execution Plan

This part needs to be filled in.  Action items from previous week:
  1. Mechanical drawing (review and get machining started)  [Joachim is lead, sharing task with Daniel]
    1. Order any enclosures needed?
    2. Order parts (connectors, cables) required
  2. Power HV  [Daniel is lead, with guidance from Kurtis]
    1. Make cable
    2. Study response with oscilloscope
  3. Mini-PC preparation  [Daniel is lead, with guidance from Matt]
    1. Linux load
    2. USB, ethernet config status?
  4. Revised system diagram (to post here)
