This great hotel is set oceanside, with Kona's gorgeous
sunsets. Adjacent is a beach for swimming and great snorkeling.
Sometimes a turtle or two will even come up to shore.
Recently refurnished, it offers Hawaiian cultural programs
(free of charge) with hula, lei-making and Hawaii Language. Also on
the grounds is the summer house of King Kalakaua and archeological
sites.

I just wanted to thank you for steering us to the OHANA
Keauhou Beach Hotel on the Big Island for our Feb trip. It was just
beautiful. We had booked partial ocean view but were able to upgrade
to full ocean view for an additional 25/night which still put us
lower than the usual rate for that category. we love it. The
landscaping and open lobby and restaurant really put you out of your
usual world and into "paradise". The whole trip was beyond belief,
the islands are very special. thanks for your help.
