The two tube design is now the one we would prefer to fully develop. Thank you for pointing out that header center-to-center distances are not referenced to the edges and that the 12.7mm c-to-c typ should be taken as 12.7 +/-0.5mm. This specification is fairly coarse, and may indeed make the PCB layout challenging. We must not be the only customer facing this issue. Is there some way we could help Burle control this tolerance by, for example, providing you with a header fixture or similar jig that matches our PCB?
