From john.flanagan@kek.jp Wed Oct 9 14:34:56 2013 Date: Thu, 10 Oct 2013 09:39:18 +0900 [Errata -- from Julie @ bottom] Minutes: --Blooming (John): ----Casino calcs show blooming radius to be no more than 2-3 microns for hardest peaks of spectra at LER and HER. --Layout (Julie): ----Updated layout ----Capacitance: 1.7 pF for central channels, 6.3 pF for edge channels (determined by horizontal line run lengths) ------Question for Gary: Effect on time resolution of 6.3 pF? Next time: Next week, same time 10/16 17:00 PDT 10/16 14:00 HST 10/17 09:00 JST Cheers, John ERRATUM: I reported the wrong number yesterday. The maximum metal routing capacitance for the edge channel is 4.0pF, not 6.3pF. (The minimum, 1.7pF, was correct for metal.) Also, I should have clarified that I had only looked at the metal routing capacitance, there will be some additional capacitance from the the strip diffusion (roughly 0.4pF/strip), so a better estimate for the total would be center 2.1pF, edge 4.4pF.
