I'm an astrophysicist in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa (also co-operating graduate faculty at the Institute for Astronomy). My research encompasses observational studies of galaxy evolution, active galactic nuclei, and the physics of black holes.
