     Strong k1(1270) signal:  

     SU(3) says roughly equal k1(1400) <-- where is it?

     Look for K1(1400)

     -Fit k* pi mass spectrum (Fig 4f) to:

        WMD-inspired K1(1270) line shape + BW[K1(1400)] + BW["k*(1680)"]
                                               |              |
                (Fig 7)                  M fixed at 1.4    M around 1.7
                                         Width "  " 0.173  Width " 0.3
        (bkgnd underestimated/signal overestimated?)

        Nevt(1400) = 26.8 +/- 10 evnts  or  Nevt < 39  90% cl  Fig 7

      -MC acceptance = 0.118 +/- 0.006
