Class participation:    This is an interactive class with many exercises. It is expected that every student who takes the class also actively participates. Please bring scratch paper and a pocket calculator to each class. Questions are welcomed. If you did not understand something, chances are that others did not as well.

Being Late:                  If you are more than 5 minutes late for the class or need to leave earlier, you should skip this class.

Class Protocol:           The lecture hall should be a place for learning while respecting each other. Behavior which distracts others will not be tolerated. There will be no talking other than in public dialogue; cellphones and beepers should be switched off; no eating; no skateboards or scooters; no pets; no reading or sleeping; and no frequent leaving and returning to the classroom. Please, if you are not in class to learn physics, do not interfere with anyone else who wants to get an education.
