Physics I

Fall 2004

Physics 170 at the University of Hawaii is an introductory calculus-based physics course, which is the first part of a three semester sequence. It is a three credit course, which covers mechanics of particles and rigid bodies, wave motion, thermodynamics and kinetic theory. Prerequisites for this class are UH Math 242 or 252 (or concurrent), or equivalent, or by special arrangement with the instructor.
