Professor Veronica Bindi from the UH Manoa Physics and Astronomy Department became a TED educator.

Professor Bindi and her group together with the TED team developed an animation about Cosmic Rays that explains the nature of cosmic rays, and how these messengers transmit information about our universe from the great beyond. The animation, presented for the first time at CERN in September 23rd 2014 during a TEDex event, has already accumulated over 35,000 views in just two weeks.
